DoubleTree By Hilton Miami Doral

This is an older property, but it is so well maintained! The hotel is beautiful and set back off the main strip, convenient to all the great stuff. The staff were very attentive and nice - Khiara, Marcus, and Amanda always replied quickly to my requests in the Hilton app! And they even left a special surprise for us on our anniversary. I'd give them 10 stars if I could!

Overall good experience. Hotel is very nice and fancy. Rooms are big and spacious. The room was clean and cool. They give you warm cookies at check in which are really good. Thanks for that. Lots of lounge space and a good size pool. Staff was friendly and informative. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because twice during our stay we had room service I assume try and enter our room. Once at 8:30am and another at 9:00. You guys should have a system that lets your workers know that guests are inside and haven’t checked out yet. Even with the sign on the door.

This is by far one of the best DoubleTree by Hilton that I have ever stayed at. The customer service and cleanliness of the inside and even the parking lot exterior of the hotel, you name it. It is spotless. They are friendly. They are helpful everything you can ask for in a hotel. Clean spacious rooms, everything smells good hallways, elevators it is most definitely, my favorite DoubleTree by Hilton and every visit to Miami I will stay at this location, hands down the best. There is only one thing I would ask of this hotel to fix the consistency of the water pressure in the shower and the temperature of the water in the shower. It is consistently fluctuating. Get a professional plumber to take a look at this. Sometimes, the water gets super hot. It's so hot that you have to jump back and look at your skin to make sure you didn't get burned.

Hilton hotels hold a high reputation in the hotel industry and if you’ve ever stayed at one of the hotels you can clearly understand why. They make your stay feel like home. They have thought a lot about how to make sure you have the best homelike experience there is. This hotel was no exception. Their customer service is excellent, of course nothing is perfect, but they do make sure to correct any mistakes on their end as quickly as possible. I liked this hotel a lot, it’s beautiful, great food quality and great customer service. I strongly recommend you try it, I 🫶🏻♥️it.

We ended a cruise in Miami and needed to spend the night there before flying home. We had to leave the ship early and arrived at the hotel at 10:00 AM and were told check in time was 4:00 PM, no exceptions. That left us 6 hours to kill. There are minimal services at the hotel, the restaurant being closed and given its location near the airport. There are no restaurants that aren't an Uber or cab ride away. We hung around the lobby and tried to check in at 3:20 PM. After standing in line one of the two couples got a room. The other couple didn't get a room until 4:45 PM. This after standing in line for 3 separate times talking to clerks who could not care less. We overheard many conversations with guests in line and all of them were treated with indifference by the staff. The room is adequate and the location is convenient to the airport but, given the experience we had, I would be reluctant to use any Hilton Hotel again. I will never use Double Tree by Hilton Miami Airport again. We need to leave for the airport at 4:00 AM and, after the exhausting time we had today, I fear our trip tomorrow will be grueling. To add to our woes, the shuttle to the airport doesnt start until 6:00 AM, so we have to pay for a cab. We booked this hotel because it was supposed to have services and a shuttle. Hilton Hotels, surely you can do better than this. UPDATE: After the awful experience with the front desk, Raul, the Concierge, saved the day. He helped us with travel to the airport. He also recommended a restaurant, La Rosa. It is an excellent Cuban restaurant. If everyone at the Double Tree by Hilton had Raul's sense of customer service it would be a much better place.

I think the location was great, close to the malls and a free shuttle to the mall. No free breakfast like I enjoyed at the residence inn just besides the hotel a few days earlier, also didn't have a shuttle to the airport like the residence hotel. The standard at the hotel wasn't as high as I expected but the services were amazing. Angela was nice and helped process an early check in.

The good: Giancarlo and his coworker at the reception desk was 5 star. The free cookies are tasty. The free water bottles are nice and so is the coffee and tea. The hotel is generally nice, safe and secure. The sheets were good and the bed was comfortable. The towels were good, but there should be a few more in the room. Unfortunately, our room was not 5 star. The shower soap was empty, the carpet was dirty and seemed unvacuumed. The furniture was stained in several spots and the windows had smudges on them from someone's hand and face grease...yuck. The rooms could use some better and more plentiful decor. The location is not convenient to downtown. It's best suited for travelers looking to stay in the Doral area for their visit. If we were coming back for an event in the Doral area we'd probably stay again. But not for going downtown or to Marlins Stadium.
